Representative Experience
Representation of communications clients before the FCC, other federal, state and local regulatory agencies, and state and federal courts
Cable regulatory law, cable network programming issues, local franchise issues, contract negotiation/enforcement, international licensing requirements for video distribution, copyright, privacy, local right-of-way regulation, and access to poles, conduits and easements
Consult clients regarding compliance with FCC rules governing commercial leased access, closed captioning and inside wiring
Advise and represent cable clients in franchise negotiations and disputes with U.S. military branches
Represent clients in negotiations with utility pole owners to obtain just, reasonable and non-discriminatory access to poles and conduit under Section 224 of the Communications Act
