Representative Experience
Ms. Duffy’s representation encompasses a variety of business planning and regulatory matters, including structuring corporate acquisitions, mergers and consolidations, other reorganizations; joint ventures for health care systems and other tax exempt organizations; governance and board relations; tax exempt financing, tax planning and compliance—including obtaining and maintaining exemption from federal and state taxes.
Ms. Duffy regularly advises boards of directors and board compensation committees of tax exempt organizations on corporate governance best practices, legal compliance oversight issues, and executive compensation.

Ms. Duffy represents a wide range of clients in the health care industry, including health care delivery systems, managed care organizations, home health agencies, physician groups, professional associations, long-term care providers, and medical technology companies, as well as other tax exempt organizations including community foundations and other charitable and educational organizations.
