Representative Experience
Representation of independent power producers, transmission system operator, competitive utility service providers, public utilities, nonprofit associations, large utility customers, and public agencies on regulatory matters before the California Public Utilities Commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
Energy (Procurement & Resource Adequacy): Representation of independent power producers and energy service providers in matters related to power procurement and resource adequacy requirements, with particular emphasis on market structure issues, utility resource solicitations, and negotiation and regulatory approval of power purchase agreements
Energy (Renewables & Climate Change): Representation of independent power producers and energy service providers in matters related to renewable portfolio standards, greenhouse gas emission standards, and climate change initiatives – including implementation of California Assembly Bill 32
Energy (Electric Transmission): Representation of transmission system operator and independent power producers in matters related to the siting and regulatory approval of electric transmission lines
Energy (Utility Districts): Representation of irrigation and municipal utility districts in matters related to the provision of retail electric service
Energy (Project Development and Operations): Representation of independent power producers in matters related to power plant development, operations, and regulatory compliance issues
Energy (Utility Ratemaking): Representation of large electric customers in utility general rate cases
Water: Representation of local governments, publicly owned utility districts, and customer groups in matters related to water utility rates, service, and consolidation
Transportation: Matters related to the provision of vessel common carrier, passenger stage, and household goods moving services
Telecommunications: Matters related to the provision of service, transfer of control, and regulatory compliance
