Contributed to the successful trial defense of prominent hip-hop artist in copyright infringement case
Served on team of primary legal counsel for legendary rock group, responsible for managing intellectual property rights, filing copyright registrations, issuing cease and desist letters, and analyzing accounting records; counsel in multi-million dollar litigation on behalf of rock group against record company over royalty accounting practices
Conducted and supervised motion practice, pretrial discovery and settlement negotiations in a range of cases, including:
- Defense of Oscar-winning film producer and director in dispute involving distribution of film profits and corporate control issues
- Defense of cosmetics company in trademark and unfair
- Defending famous tennis player and coach in lawsuit by former agent
- Negotiating and drafting licensing agreement on behalf of female hip-hop group
- Defense of media company in arbitration proceeding against former gossip columnist
