Representative Experience
Advises and represents clients before the U.S. Trademark and Copyright Offices, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and federal court in connection with trademark and copyright licensing and infringement matters
Represents broadcast and cable television clients at the Federal Communications Commission and in connection with a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, including ownership, attribution and political broadcasting/cablecasting issues
Advises clients on legal issues relating to music licensing, Internet gambling and potential liability for defamation, obscenity and indecency
Advises IPTV clients and others on copyright/fair use, trademark/domain names, terms of use, and other Internet-related intellectual property issues
Worked with a group of domain name registrars in connection with their efforts to maintain competition in the secondary market for domain names
Served as an expert witness in both Bermuda and Canada on cable and Internet music licensing issues
Represented a trade association in U.S./Canadian border broadcasting dispute before the Office of U.S. Trade Representative
