Representing clients, both local and national, in matters involving utility regulatory matters. Including a variety of clients before the Regulatory Commission of Alaska in disputes over service area boundaries, certificates of public convenience and necessity, management practices, change of control and sales of assets and other similar disputes. Representing gas utilities in disputes before the RCA. Developing and negotiating power sales agreements, preparing co-generation agreements between industrial customers and utilities and advising clients on a variety of energy matters. Representing utilities in disputes with the State of Alaska over permitting and utility relocations. As a professional engineer with twenty years of experience in the electric utility business before becoming an attorney, Ted brings a unique and informed technical understanding to utility issues.

Litigation in commercial disputes, construction and employment matters before state and federal agencies and in state and federal court.

Advice on contract matters involving procurement, construction, obtaining state and federal grants.

Contract and employment matters with consideration of Indian law and the rights of Alaska Natives for Alaska Native profit and non-profit organizations.

Training for employers on employment matters as requested and seminars on employment topics for outside seminar firms.
