Jake Freed is a litigator with experience across a wide range of practice areas and industries. His practice focuses on financial services litigation, class action defense, intellectual property enforcement and brand protection for technology companies, and commercial disputes across industries.

JPMorgan Chase mortgage banking disputes
Defending Chase in over 100 California mortgage banking disputes in California Superior Court, U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, California Court of Appeal, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Every case handled resulted in dismissal with prejudice or a successful settlement. Cases involve quiet title, breach of contract, fraud, and negligence claims, as well as statutory claims under Federal and California law. (2015-present)
Zions Bancorporation NSF fee class actions
Defending Zions Bank in a series of putative class actions surrounding NSF and overdraft fees. Obtained dismissals in the District of Arizona, District of Utah, and Southern District of California. (2021-2023)
