Geoffrey Brounell litigates on behalf of individuals, small companies, and global corporations in courts across the United States. His practice spans state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate level.
Geoffrey also maintains an active pro bono practice, for which he has won multiple awards. He has been a member of the firm's pro bono committee since 2019.

Defeated request for preliminary injunction in aid of arbitration on behalf of Stripe. (S.D.N.Y. 2024)
GEO Group v. Murphy
Representing GEO Group as plaintiff in in lawsuit challenging constitutionality of AB-5207. Obtained preliminary relief. (D.N.J. 2024)
Ivy v. Woods Grove, et al.
Defended lawsuit brought in Delaware Chancery. Case settled after filing motion to dismiss. (Del. Ch. 2024)
MetroPCS v. Picker
Successfully represented MetroPCS as plaintiff in case asserting constitutional challenge to California Public Utilities Commission's assessment of surcharge on broadband and other interstate service revenues derived from sale of prepaid wireless service in California. WeCare RG Inc. v. Giftly Inc.
Litigated and ultimately settled consumer class action lawsuit on behalf of Giftly Inc. (E.D.P.A. 2023)

Pro bono representation
DACA
Represented United We Dream in its efforts to challenge government's attempt to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program before multiple federal trial and appellate courts, which included filing of an amicus brief on behalf of United We Dream and 50 organizations with the U.S. Supreme Court. The brief was accompanied by the Home Is Here video series, which won the Social Movement award at the fifth annual Shorty Social Good Awards.
Travel ban executive order
Submitted amicus briefs, including multiple briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court, on behalf of more than 130 members of Congress in cases challenging President Trump's "Travel Ban" executive orders.
Immigration and criminal matters
Representation of individuals in connection with immigration and criminal matters, most recently involving an application for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and an appeal of a criminal conviction in New Jersey.
