JAN. 3, 2022 – Lynn Loacker, founder and leader of Davis Wright Tremaine's Project W, has been named to City & State magazine's "Responsible 100" list, which recognizes a select group of New Yorkers who are dedicated to helping others and "exemplify the optimism and idealism that make New York a national leader."
This year's list honors leaders in business, government, nonprofits, and advocacy. It includes individuals such as the executive director of the Fund for Public Health in New York, the CEO of the Urban Resource Institute, and Amazon's New York head of external affairs. City & State is a website and weekly magazine covering politics and policy in the Empire State.
Through Project W, an initiative she founded in 2015, Ms. Loacker deploys her 35-plus years of experience as a corporate lawyer to develop the next generation of great tech companies led and owned by women. With a network of nearly 3,000 female founders, female fund managers and angel investors, women business executives, and male allies, Project W runs four separate accelerator programs for female founders.

Ms. Loacker's success in elevating women in the business world through Project W has been widely recognized. Her many recent honors include being named a "Woman of Influence" by New York Business Journal, a "Trailblazer" by the New York Law Journal, a "Notable Woman in Law" by Crain's New York Business, and an honoree in Corporate Counsel magazine's "Women, Influence & Power in Law" Awards.
