Momentum may soon be building towards a comprehensive federal stablecoin regulatory framework. On April 6, 2022, Senator Pat Toomey released the Stablecoin TRUST Act of 2022, another major step in the Ranking Member's efforts to lay the foundation for a clear regulatory structure for stablecoins.
