DWT's PRISM committee, DWT's Manager of Diversity in partnership with scholars, activists and community leaders affiliated with the University of Washington and Seattle University's new Fred T. Korematsu Center for Law and Equality presented a cultural competency lunch panel discussion about our government's internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.
Moderated by Seattle associate Hozaifa Cassubhai, the panel served as an informative, educational and inspirational look at Japanese-American internment, its impact on our legal history and why it is even more important than ever to remember this dark chapter in American civil rights history.
