In the first study of its kind since 2008, the Pacific Family Business Institute (PFBI) polled 100 Northwest family business owners in a wide range of industries on topics relating to succession planning, leadership transition, and challenges faced by family businesses in the current economy. At this session, PFBI founders Rich Simmonds and Mark Green discussed some of the key insights gained from this recent study and what it teaches us about the current Northwest family business landscape. We also heard from some families who responded to the study on what the results mean to them.
