"What Employers Need to Know About the FFCRA - Part 2," Davis Wright Tremaine Webinar
This is the second installment in our webinar series, "What Employers Need to Know About the FFCRA." The FFCRA became effective on April 1, 2020, and the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) published its final regulations interpreting the FFCRA on April 6, 2020. Because the USDOL's non-enforcement period expires on April 17, 2020, this program addressed lessons learned since our last webinar, additional guidance from the USDOL regulations and further IRS explanation of the tax credits, and what employers need to know in anticipation of April 17th.
This program covered the following aspects of the FFCRA:
- Emergency paid sick leave
- Emergency family medical leave
- Tax considerations
- Other important issues and frequently asked questions
We also spent a portion of this webinar addressing the questions submitted during registration and during the live webinar.
Presenters:
- Sarah Ames
- Julie Capell
- Michael Goettig
