With Broadway returning to work in a partially vaccinated city, performing arts venues and other public-facing businesses in New York continue to face a host of considerations when managing employees and welcoming the public. During this webinar, DWT partner Carolyn Casselman and DWT counsel Michael Goettig examined:

  • Current New York state and city COVID-19 guidance
  • Duties and limitation imposed on places of public accommodation
  • Limits on the duty to accommodate under applicable laws
  • Managing vaccine exemption requests from both employees and audience members
  • The requirements of New York's HERO Act
  • Additional protocol considerations

Participants were provided with a better understanding as to their rights and responsibilities as employers and places of public accommodation.

(On-demand versions are not eligible for CLE credit.)
