October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy announced the theme for 2021 as "America's Recovery: Powered by Inclusion," and the importance of providing full access to employment for people with disabilities during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) president and CEO, Kathy Martinez, and former DWT attorney and current DRA board member, Allison May, explore disability as a key component of workplace diversity, share personal stories of navigating the workplace as women with disabilities, and share the incredible high-impact legal work that Disability Rights Advocates has carried out for the last 28 years that has transformed the landscape of American society.
