Food Venture Financing Trends
- Rebel Foods, an Indian foodtech startup that operates ghost kitchens, announced that it raised $175 million in its Series F round at a valuation of $1.4 billion, achieving unicorn status.
- Atlantic Food Labs, a European venture studio, recently launched FoodLabs, a foodtech investment fund that will focus on investments in the food, health, and sustainability sectors. Atlantic Food Labs has allocated 100 million Euros for the investment fund.
- Kingdom Supercultures, a foodtech startup company that designs microbial cultures for food innovation, announced that it raised $25 million in its Series A round.
- The Kamine Family announced the launch of Do Good Foods, a foodtech company that will create a solution to eliminate food waste by upcycling food into sustainable animal protein. Nuveen, an asset manager, provided a $169 million investment to launch the entity.
