Assaf Ariely, a member of the firm's financial services and privacy & security practice groups, handles complex transactions and early stage financings across industries, specializing in emerging growth companies and the technology, life sciences, and telecommunications spaces.
Assaf has negotiated a wide range of IP, technology, and data-driven deals and commercial agreements, advising corporate clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, asset transfers, and loans. He is an expert on U.S. securities law.
With a deep understanding of the law beyond the financial sector, Assaf offers clients a full range of services in order to start, maintain, and protect their business ventures. Experienced in privacy including state, federal, and international privacy laws and regulations, Assaf provides data protection and compliance counseling to clients in retail, consumer products, healthcare, software and app development, digital marketing, and other industries. His commercial transactions experience includes work on public-private partnerships in the infrastructure and energy sectors, incorporation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Before starting his practice, Assaf managed the legal affairs for a New York museum, from establishment and incorporation to joint ventures and donor agreements.
