Nohayla Benayad
Associate
Nohayla is an associate in the firm's banking and financial services group. She is developing a practice in the payment systems and financial technology industries, including credit card program agreements, processing agreements, and mobile wallets.
Nohayla brings her experience from top Canadian law firms in secured lending and equity financing transactions to the group. She has represented major banks in Canada and private debt institutions on bilateral, syndicate, and mezzanine lending transactions as well as advised borrowers in real estate financings. Her problem-solving approach prioritizes balancing the client's business needs with legal technicality. Nohayla also has broad transactional experience relating to corporate commercial transactions and advising on corporate governance and ESG matters.
Nohayla sits on the firm's DEI committee.
