Moiz Bharmal works in the firm's commercial litigation group. Before joining DWT as an associate, Moiz assisted the litigation team with legal drafting, research, and analysis on issues such as sexual harassment and wrongful discharge claims, FLSA and other labor matters, personal injury cases, "battle of the forms" contract disputes, and public records request issues. Moiz previously was a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio, where he drafted briefs on criminal cases involving child exploitation and compassionate release issues.
Moiz shares DWT's commitment to making a difference in the local and legal communities. While at Cornell Law, Moiz represented clients applying for asylum and DACA. Before law school, he reviewed grant proposals and other work for a Chicago-based immigrant rights organization and worked as an academic consultant in China, where he advised high school students on their U.S. college applications.
