Scott Commerson focuses his litigation practice on intellectual property and brand protection, including trademark, trade dress, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret litigation. Scott has obtained ex parte seizure orders, temporary restraining orders, and preliminary injunctions on behalf of IP owners. Scott also helps clients develop comprehensive enforcement programs to protect their brands from infringement. In addition to his IP practice, Scott regularly defends class actions brought under California's consumer protection laws.
Scott represents clients in courts and arbitration tribunals across the country, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Scott is admitted to practice before courts in California and Washington.
Scott has been named to the Daily Journal's Top 100 Intellectual Property Attorneys in California, and he is recognized by the World Trademark Review for enforcement and litigation.
