Represented well operator in a suit against its chemical supplier for products liability, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and exemplary damages in relation to a well blowout and devastating corrosion on other wells in East Texas. Defended and took expert depositions, assisted in drafting numerous filings, and was actively involved in trial preparation. Months before trial, the court found that Tanos had "demonstrated a substantial likelihood of success on the merits of a claim for exemplary damages."
