Alexandra Day Coyle advises banks and other financial institutions engaged in complex commercial disputes and securities-related litigation. Alexandra's experience includes representing entities involved in investigations and disputes concerning allegations of securities fraud, money laundering, deficiencies with AML compliance, healthcare fraud, and white-collar crime. Before joining DWT, Alexandra was a litigation associate at an international firm's New York office, where she represented clients in SEC and cross-border investigations and was seconded to an international hedge fund's compliance department during her second year of practice.
Alexandra previously served as a legal extern to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, focusing on violent crimes. She engages in pro bono work serving individuals seeking post-conviction relief or representation in immigration cases.
