Danielle Cohen provides employment-related counseling to employers from various industries on a wide range of issues under federal and California law, including employment policies and practices, hiring, terminations, accommodation, leaves of absence, and wage-and-hour compliance.
Danielle also has an extensive litigation practice where she represents employers in both single-plaintiff disputes and wage-and-hour litigation. Danielle is experienced in many aspects of litigation including investigating allegations, interviewing witnesses, propounding and responding to discovery, defending depositions, drafting motions, and arguing motions.

Secured summary judgment on the papers for an employer in a multiplaintiff case alleging claims of harassment and discrimination.
Policy review
Revising dozens of employment-related policies and handbooks every year for employers in California and across the country.
Children's rights project
Partnering with Public Counsel's Children's Right Project in handling dependency adoptions for children in the foster system in Los Angeles County, who have suffered abuse or neglect.
Disability discrimination claims for restaurant
Obtained unanimous defense verdict after a four-day trial for one of the world's largest restaurant companies in the United States District Court, Central District of California, in single-plaintiff lawsuit alleging disability discrimination, failure to provide a reasonable accommodation, failure to engage in the interactive process, and wrongful termination in violation of public policy. (C.D. Cal. 2019)
