Philip Golodetz is an associate in the firm's media and entertainment group. He represents clients in all stages of litigation. His focus areas include defamation defense, pre-publication review, privacy law, and First Amendment issues. He has experience in state, federal, and international litigations. Outside of his media law practice, Philip has advised clients on cross-border transactions and compliance matters and was a member of a trial team that secured a favorable jury verdict in a complex matter involving alleged antitrust violations in the multitrillion-dollar foreign exchange industry.

Obtained a favorable ruling striking down a New York City ordinance on First Amendment grounds that would have required the company to deliver customer data and ordering history to restaurants without getting express consent from those same customers.
In re Foreign Exchange Antitrust Litigation*
Member of a trial team that secured a favorable jury verdict in an action alleging that 16 banks had conspired to manipulate the $5 trillion-per-day foreign exchange currency market.
