Amanda Gómez handles employers' most intricate matters, including litigation and labor relations. Recognized as a New York "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers, Amanda is a key partner in compliance issues, internal investigations, and workplace trainings, offered in both English and Spanish. They also write extensively on queer and transgender rights in the workplace.
Amanda represents clients in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Title VII, and ADA compliance matters and disputes while also focusing on fast-changing laws regarding pregnancy accommodation, gender expression, and identity protections. They prepare and review employee handbooks as well as agreements involving consulting, settlements, and work separation. In litigation matters, Amanda has defended a range of employers, including multinationals, in state and federal court and through arbitration and mediation.
While pursuing their J.D. at Harvard Law, Amanda worked as a legal intern and translator at a New York-based organization that represents asylum seekers.
