Ian Harris is a member of DWT's litigation group where he supports attorneys in complex commercial litigation. His work includes researching and drafting memorandums related to ongoing securities lawsuits and contract disputes, as well as helping to draft motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgement.
Ian received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a research assistant to Professor Jeffery Fagan, a teaching assistant for the Lawyering in the Digital Age Clinic, and the lead research assistant to Professor Elizabeth Emens. Prior to joining DWT, he served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington, supporting Assistant U.S. Attorneys in criminal trial preparation, exhaustive document review, and conducting legal research on matters involving financial crimes, complex data, tax fraud, and regulatory compliance.
