Associate

Christopher Im draws on his business experience to help craft unique legal strategies to suit his clients' goals. As a member of the firm's employment group, he counsels and defends clients in a variety of employment law matters, including retaliation, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage-and-hour claims.

He is experienced with both single-plaintiff and class action matters across a variety of industries, including technology, food and beverage, transportation, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and hospitality. Further, Christopher has assisted in a range of M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.

Analyzed and balanced local, state, and federal guidance and regulations with employer needs to devise and develop reopening plans in jurisdictions across the country.

Negotiated a walk-away settlement for an international bank in a single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination case who filed in multiple forums including FINRA. (Multi-forum arbitration)

Settlement in large wage and hour class action matter*

Successfully settled wage and hour class action matter with thousands of class members for a large manufacturing company.

Successful DLSE hearings*

Multiple successful DLSE hearings involving claims for unpaid wages for large healthcare company.

Summary adjudication and settlement for global fashion house*

Prepared and won summary adjudication on discrimination and harassment claims in a dual discrimination and wage and hour matter, leading to favorable settlement shortly thereafter.

Workplace violence TROs*

Secured successful outcomes for multiple employers seeking workplace violence temporary restraining orders on behalf of their employees.
