Jay Jimenez
Associate
Jay Jimenez draws from his past experience as in-house counsel at two major film and television studios to help clients across television, film, theater, podcast, and other digital mediums plan for, and solve, complex legal issues that may arise during the development, prep, principal, and post-production stages of a project. As part of his practice, Jay structures, drafts, reviews, and negotiates a variety of entertainment agreements covering all facets of development, acquisitions, licensing and production (e.g., option/purchase agreements, production services agreements, shopping agreements, co-production agreements, talent agreements, and physical production agreements). Jay's practice also includes overseeing and counseling clients on day-to-day production legal matters for scripted, unscripted, live-action and animation projects. Drawing from his sports background and prior experience at a sports company, Jay's practice also includes counseling and providing legal support to athletes on a variety of entertainment and sports agreements.
