Christine Parkins Johnson is a member of DWT's healthcare practice group where she concentrates her practice on the regulatory and operational concerns of healthcare organizations and their subsidiaries, including health systems, hospitals, pharmacies, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, behavioral health, and substance abuse providers, among other healthcare providers.
Christine has particular expertise in counseling clients about compliance with the No Surprises Act, state licensing regulations, and scope of practice issues. Christine is particularly skilled at helping clients understand and address regulatory challenges associated with contemplated initiatives. Christine also has in-depth experience with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, certification, and reimbursement-related issues. Christine also helps clients apply for licensure under California’s Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 and comply with the ongoing regulatory requirements.
