Alesia J. Kantor

Alesia Kantor is a labor and employment law trial attorney and counselor with more than 30 years of experience. Alesia takes a proactive, preventative approach to counseling, to help avoid employee relations problems and mitigate litigation risk. She defends employers and their executives in federal and state courts and administrative agencies against claims of discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, wage and hour, and other employment-based claims.
Alesia guides corporate management and in-house counsel on a wide variety of employment issues including hiring, termination, disciplinary matters, reductions in force, employee complaints, time and leave, and performance management. Her practice includes drafting corporate policies, handbooks, and employment-related agreements, and investigating complaints of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful treatment.
Further, Alesia conducts training for managers, supervisors and employees on avoiding sexual harassment, retaliation, and other discrimination-based claims. Alesia also has represented companies in commercial, corporate and business disputes.

Significant trial experience defending corporate clients in state and federal court with favorable results. Matters include single- and multi-plaintiff cases in bench and jury trials over issues spanning employment grievances and claims surrounding corporate fiduciary duty.
