Richard Kim is an attorney in DWT's real estate group. He advises public and private investors on a range of alternative investments, including domestic and global real estate funds.
With a background in contract law, corporate structures, venture capital, and private equity/hedge fund management, Richard offers clients a broad view of their investment strategies and legal compliance.
Before starting his own practice, Richard assisted King County prosecutors with drafting and discovery, handling high-profile criminal cases. He also interned for the in-house legal team at Amazon's robotics division, where he assisted with research and transactions advice. He is a combat veteran who served in key leadership positions in Afghanistan and stateside.
