He also represents clients in opposition, cancellation, and concurrent use proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and advises on trademark infringement, unfair competition, and cybersquatting disputes in federal court.

Represented Sock It To Me in successful opposition to registration of SOCK EM' mark before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Garan, Incorporated v. Manimal, LLC
Secured a rare order from an Oregon federal judge reversing a decision of the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board (TTAB). The judge found that client's Garanimals mark is famous and entitled to broad protection and cancelled the TTAB's registration of a similar brand name for clothing. (January 2022)
