As a member of the firm's healthcare group, Megan Leonard supports hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare provider enterprises in navigating the complexities of healthcare regulation and enforcement. Megan's practice is particularly focused on regulatory compliance, operational issues, change of ownership transactions, and analyzing reimbursement matters.

Megan guides clients through the regulatory processes involved in acquisitions, reorganizations, sales, and mergers of healthcare facilities. She plays a crucial role in securing state and federal healthcare licenses and approvals, ensuring a seamless transition of operations.

With a keen eye for detail and experience in the healthcare sector, Megan is committed to providing exceptional legal support to her clients, helping them achieve their operational and strategic goals.

Prior to joining Davis Wright Tremaine, she earned her Master of Health Administration from the University of Washington School of Public Health and graduated from the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, Megan served as a legal extern for MultiCare Health System, a law clerk at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General, University of Washington Healthcare Division, and a legal extern for the American Health Law Association, where she helped author "Health Care Fraud Law: A 50 State Survey," First Edition.
