Kasey McGee advises telecommunications clients on federal and state universal service mechanisms and funding programs, universal service contributions, and congressional and state funding programs. Kasey regularly monitors federal and state regulatory requirements and advises on a broad range of compliance matters, including Broadband Data Collection, robocalls and robotexts, and Broadband Nutrition Labels. She advocates for her clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), state utilities commissions, and Capitol Hill and has experience drafting comments in public proceedings and participating in ex parte meetings.
Kasey draws on her experience and prior position in the General Counsel's office at the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) to assist with navigating the complex rules of the Universal Service Fund (USF) Programs: Lifeline, E-Rate, Rural Health Care, and High Cost. She also has intern experience with the CTIA, the FCC, and the federal regulatory office at AT&T. Additionally Kasey serves as the co-chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association's Young Lawyers Committee.
