Bradley R. Miliauskas (Brad) is a member of the firm's energy group. He concentrates his practice on energy regulation and restructuring matters, including electricity regulation by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), restructuring of the U.S. electric industry, state regulatory matters, and court proceedings concerning energy.
Brad advises clients on regulatory issues, appears in FERC proceedings, and prepares filings submitted to state and federal regulators and courts. He has extensive experience in energy regulation and restructuring matters, including tariff revisions, agreements between individual entities and revisions to such agreements, complaints before FERC, and rulemaking and appellate proceedings.
Nonprofit regional transmission organization
Providing counsel to nonprofit public benefit corporation that operates most of the transmission grid in California and serves as a regional transmission organization under FERC's jurisdiction. Has an important part in preparing and obtaining FERC approval of numerous filings, including electric rate tariff amendments, rate schedules, and service agreements. Has also contributed to preparing answers to complaints that were ultimately denied by FERC. (Ongoing)

Providing counsel to company that is developing a new high-voltage interregional transmission project designed primarily to deliver renewable wind energy from Wyoming to the Desert Southwest region. (Ongoing)
