Lisa Nichols
Associate
Lisa Nichols specializes in labor relations for employers across the U.S. and is a trusted advisor on the full range of employment matters in Washington state, California, and beyond. Lisa has successfully defended employers representing a multitude of industries – from food, retail, and hospitality to aviation, energy, healthcare, and financial services – against discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other claims in court, through arbitration, and before administrative panels.
Lisa's practice has a strong focus on labor relations. She defends employers against unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board and in labor arbitrations. She also advises companies facing union organizing activity, assists with collective bargaining negotiations, and conducts management and HR training sessions on labor and employment topics, including how to maintain positive employee relations.
Outside of her labor relations practice, she also counsels clients on state and federal employment matters including wage-and-hour law, workplace policies and employee handbooks, internal investigations, employment contracts and transactional risks, and emerging issues such as gender identity laws and their effects on employers.
