Shontee M. Pant

Shontee Pant is a member of the firm's media litigation team, where she counsels and defends media and entertainment clients in a wide range of First Amendment and intellectual property matters. Shontee also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on defending the freedom of the press for small publishers and individual voting rights.
Before joining DWT, Shontee wrote for The Christian Science Monitor and worked with Nina Totenberg at National Public Radio. She also clerked for the Honorable Wilhelmina M. Wright of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and for the Honorable James B. Loken of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
