Greg Raburn
Counsel
Greg Raburn is a patent attorney who prosecutes patents directed to electrical and software technologies, such as cloud computing, information security, storage systems, virtualization, cryptographic solutions, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency. Before joining Davis Wright Tremaine, he worked as a software engineer and a patent examiner. Now Greg utilizes his years of professional experience as an inventor, engineer, patent examiner, and patent attorney to develop optimum patent prosecution strategies to expeditiously secure high-quality, valuable, and enforceable patents for his clients.
As an engineer, Greg worked for one of the world’s top five semiconductor manufacturers and its subsidiaries for more than 11 years. During that time, he designed, coded, tested, and implemented web and database applications for engineering and other internal departments, and he managed teams of software engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians, and technical writers. Greg also was an inventor on two issued patents.
As a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Greg examined patent applications for computer-graphics processing and visual display systems, encountering technologies related to augmented reality, image processing, object processing, computer animation, graphics memory, and graphics-processing hardware and software.
