Joel Richert

Joel Richert is a member of DWT's media and entertainment group where he puts his passion of the law and the arts to work counseling content creators on matters involving copyright and trademark law, First Amendment, defamation, and prior restraint. While pursuing his J.D., Joel served as a summer associate at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in New York where he provided legal counseling for practicing artists. Prior to attending law school, he obtained an M.A. in art business.
