David M. Rund works in the firm's employment services group. He brings to his law practice years of public- and private-sector experience in labor relations. While serving in senior human resources roles, David designed and maintained successful HR initiatives and best practices around legal compliance, internal investigations, and performance management. He has counseled business leaders on a range of employment matters and helped devise risk mitigation strategies around union organizing and other complex issues. He also has broad experience resolving in-house personnel disputes consistent with Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and other federal and state laws and regulations.
David also gained expertise in specific legal challenges facing the emerging aerospace industry as a primary employee relations manager at Blue Origin. A member of several LGBTQ+ associations, David is an advocate for increased representation of marginalized groups in the legal community.
