Davis Wright Tremaine Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is proud to honor Hispanic Heritage Month with a conversation with Dr. Miguel Gallardo on Thursday, September 26 at 12:00 pm PT / 3:00 pm ET. This program is part of our regular DEI Education series.
The complexities of the human experience are informed by background, family and other circumstances. Because each person's experience varies, the need for cultural humility and understanding are paramount. We'll dive into these topics with Dr. Miguel Gallardo, licensed clinical psychologist and a Professor of Psychology and Director of Aliento, The Center for Latinx Communities at Pepperdine University.
Dr. Gallardo will also discuss how to show up authentically as a Hispanic/Latinx person, as well as for all people from traditionally underrepresented groups, and how to use differing life experiences to drive towards success. DWT Employment Associate Marissa Franco, who serves as co-chair of DWT's Latinx Affinity Subgroup, will moderate this discussion.
