The Privacy + Security Forum, Fall Academy, will take place in Washington, D.C. on Oct 23-25, 2024. This event brings together the most seasoned thought leaders in the areas of privacy and security law for rigorous deep-dive sessions that deliver hands-on activities and practical takeaways for conference participants.
On Thursday October 24th, partners Nancy Libin and David Rice will present "Privacy Challenges Associated with Generative AI." This presentation will examine the privacy issues associated with the development and deployment of generative AI (including transparency; secondary use of data; data storage, security, sharing; and bias in data outputs), and consider applicable legal obligations and best practices. They will also discuss how existing and emerging state, federal, and international laws may impact generative AI technology, and identify which industries may be most impacted.
