DEC. 9, 2013 – Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is pleased to announce that it received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index, and has been recognized as one of the country’s "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality."
The Human Rights Campaign is the nation’s largest civil rights organization dedicated to LGBT issues. This is the 12th year that the organization has researched and rated large U.S. employers on their policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees.

"Our commitment to supporting the LGBT community at large, and LGBT attorneys and staff in particular, has taken many forms in the past year, and we are extremely pleased to have our ongoing efforts recognized by the largest LGBT civil rights organization."
Among the 40 policies and practices tracked by the Index are: non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Davis Wright’s efforts in satisfying all of the criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
