SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 – Jaime Drozd Allen, a lawyer with more than 13 years’ experience in business litigation, has joined Davis Wright Tremaine LLP as a partner in the firm's Seattle office.
"Jaime is a highly skilled attorney with a track record of delivering excellent outcomes for her clients," said Rob Maguire, chair of the litigation group at Davis Wright Tremaine. "We’re very pleased to have such an effective advocate join our team."
Allen comes to the firm from Ogden Murphy Wallace, where she spent over ten years serving clients in areas such as products liability, contracts, bankruptcy, and trade secrets. Prior to that, she was with Goodwin Procter, concentrating on intellectual property litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and antitrust.
"I have long admired the skills and effectiveness of the litigation team at Davis Wright Tremaine," said Allen. "Their focus on the client's vision of success is a perfect fit for my own style of partnering closely with clients to achieve the best possible result. I look forward to bringing clients the benefit of the firm’s deep legal resources and national reach."
Allen’s community and volunteer participation is extensive, and has included service with the Future of the Law Institute, the King County Bar Association’s Family Law Mentor program, the Seattle Infant Development Center, and Hilltop Children’s Center. She is co-director of sponsorship for the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle.
Allen received her B.A. from the University of California San Diego and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. Each year since 2009, she has been chosen by the research and ranking organization Super Lawyers as a Rising Star—an honor reserved for attorneys under 40 years of age or in practice for less than ten years.
