Oct. 13 2021 – The Women in Law Empowerment Forum has awarded Gold Standard certification to Davis Wright Tremaine for the eleventh straight year, recognizing the firm's ongoing success in promoting women to positions of leadership.
Certification is granted to major law firms that meet a set of objective benchmarks for women's advancement. At Davis Wright, more than half the firm's 13 practice group chairs are women, the firm's 2021 partnership class was more than half women, and the firm's executive committee is more than 40 percent women, with a woman as its chair.
Davis Wright Tremaine has achieved Gold Standard certification every year since WILEF inaugurated the program. The firm's commitment to advancing women extends beyond the walls of the firm and includes Project W, a multi-faceted initiative to help women build their careers and launch successful companies.
