Janet Berdine works in the area of patent prosecution and has more than a decade of experience working in both domestic and foreign patent prosecution.

Janet's areas of focus include: 

• Research, prepare, and file documents for both design and utility patent applications, including applications, assignments, declarations, amendments, powers of attorney, information disclosure statements, notices of appeal, appeal briefs, etc.
• Track and maintain maintenance and annuity fees
• Prepare and obtain formal documents
• Assist attorneys with tracking prosecution of applications through issuance
• Interact with foreign associates to ensure timely filing of foreign prosecution
• Interact with clients regarding their patents and patent applications
• Maintain paralegal and attorney dockets
• Manage large client portfolios
• Perform research projects
