Cindy Caditz evaluates trademark availability and registrability, and counsels clients about the risks arising from use and registration of proposed and existing trade names and trademarks. She prepares and prosecutes U.S. trademark applications and manages registration of foreign trademark applications around the world. Cindy has managed domestic and international trademark oppositions, administrative proceedings, and litigation. Her practice encompasses counseling and management of the full scope of intellectual property rights including transactions, acquisition of assets, sale of assets, copyrights, licensing agreements, private label manufacturing agreements, dispute resolution agreements, and rights of publicity and privacy.
Cindy has been fortunate to manage trademark portfolios both large and small and counsel clients about all aspects of their intellectual property. Acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights has presented her and her clients with a full range of intellectual property rights in both administrative and civil litigation. The most dynamic and enjoyable aspect of her practice has been the effective anticipation of problems which has been essential to building and maintaining strong assets owned by her clients, managing legal costs and conserving client resources.
