Carl provides counseling across a wide range of First Amendment and intellectual property matters. He has represented clients in both state and federal court in connection with defamation claims, high-stakes copyright disputes, and Section 230 matters, among others. In addition, he maintains a robust prepublication counseling and review practice encompassing news articles, movies, television series, and podcasts, for clients including Apple, Amazon, Walt Disney, the Wall Street Journal, and Spotify.
