Chris Walczyszyn advises banks, fintechs, and other financial industry clients on regulatory and enforcement matters related to state and federal consumer financial laws. Chris focuses his practice on responding to regulatory examinations and defending government enforcement actions. He has experience representing various financial institutions before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Reserve Board, and other federal and state regulators.
Chris also counsels clients in the lending, payments, e-commerce, and consumer financial spheres on compliance with a range of laws including ECOA, TILA, EFTA, GLBA, FCRA, ESIGN, and laws prohibiting unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices.
