JUNE 26, 2020 – For the tenth consecutive year, the Women in Law Empowerment Forum has awarded Gold Standard certification to Davis Wright Tremaine, recognizing the firm's success in promoting women to positions of leadership.

Law firms with 300 or more practicing lawyers in the United States are eligible for 2020 WILEF Gold Standard certification if they successfully demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, highest leadership positions, governance and compensation committees, and most highly compensated partners, and that there is meaningful diversity among their women partners.

"This profession has a long way to go to achieve true gender parity," said Lynn Loacker, New York partner-in-charge and chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. "We deeply appreciate WILEF's efforts to promote change in the industry and we continue to elevate our own goals for the advancement of women and all underrepresented communities."

Davis Wright Tremaine has achieved Gold Standard certification every year since WILEF inaugurated the program. Women leaders at the firm include the chair of our executive committee and the chairs and co-chairs of several of our largest practice groups.

The firm's commitment to advancing women extends beyond the walls of the firm and includes Project W, a multi-faceted initiative to help women advance their careers, launch successful companies, and achieve parity in the workplace.
